Jane Bowden-Clarke

Jane joined the team in February 2018 and fulfils a varied role.

She has achieved her certificate of higher education in Equine Science (2018), BHS instructor qualification (2006) and is also a qualified Apprenticeship co-ordinator (2013). Jane served in the Royal Army Veterinary Corps for 13 years as a veterinary Technician, and then as a riding instructor. During this time she completed tours of Kosovo and Iraq and also rode at Olympia in the services showjumping championships.

After her service, Jane worked with soldiers to assist them in gaining qualifications in animal care before moving to the Middle East. There she produced horses and ponies for various riding clubs and private stables as well as teaching.

Jane has her own horse ‘Escort’ who she retired from the Army; they enjoy hacking around the Wiltshire countryside. Jane is also a keen runner.
